We are actively seeking a dedicated individual to fill a fulltime faculty position within a Glaucoma service. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the field of ophthalmology through patient care education and research. The appointment rank (instructor/assistant/associate/full professor) will align with the candidates academic achievements and experience.

Minimum Qualifications
- Board certified or board eligible in Ophthalmology.
- Fellowshiptrained in glaucoma.
- Eligible for licensure in the District of Columbia by the time of appointment.
Preferred Qualifications
- A demonstrated track record of research in the field of ophthalmology.
- Prior experience in teaching at an academic level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students staff and patients.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care within the field of glaucoma.
- Engage in the education and mentorship of residents and medical students.
- Conduct and contribute to highquality research activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments to foster a multidisciplinary approach to patient care and education.
