Our esteemed client in Australia is currently seeking skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineering Draftspersons to join their dynamic team. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in creating detailed technical drawings and plans for mechanical devices and equipment. This role requires precision excellent technical drawing skills and a good understanding of mechanical engineering principles.

To be considered for this role applicants must:

• Have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineering Draftsperson.

• Provide a portfolio showcasing previous drafting work along with supporting documents such as qualifications work history a valid passport and police clearances.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed technical drawings and plans for mechanical machinery and components.

• Collaborate with engineers and designers to understand project requirements and specifications.

• Utilise computeraided design (CAD) software to create accurate and clear drawings.

• Revise and update existing drawings and plans as required.

• Ensure that all drawings comply with industry standards and regulations.

• Participate in project meetings and provide technical input and advice.

• Manage and maintain the documentation of design files and drafts.

• Keep abreast of the latest developments in CAD technology and mechanical engineering.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in mechanical drafting.

• Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering technology or a related field.

• Proficiency in CAD software and other related technical tools.

• Strong attention to detail and problemsolving skills.

• Physical fitness and ability to work in various environments if site visits are required.

• Proficiency in English both verbal and written for effective communication.
