Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpreting and analyzing diagnostic images such as Xrays MRI scans CT scans and ultrasounds.
• Consulting with medical teams to provide accurate and comprehensive diagnostic reports.
• Performing interventional procedures such as biopsies and drainage procedures under imaging guidance.
• Ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during imaging procedures.
• Staying updated with the latest advancements in radiology technology and techniques.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care and treatment.
• Managing and supervising radiology technicians and other support staff.
• Participating in quality assurance and improvement initiatives within the radiology department.
• Adhering to regulatory and safety guidelines in the use of radiation and imaging equipment.
• Providing expertise in specialized areas such as neuroradiology musculoskeletal imaging or cardiovascular imaging.

Required Qualifications:

• MD/DNB in Radiology from a recognized institution.
• Valid state medical license and board certification in radiology.
• Proven experience in interpreting and diagnosing medical images across various modalities.
• Proficiency in using radiology software and technology for image analysis and interpretation.
• Indepth knowledge of radiological anatomy pathology and physiology.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams and patient interactions.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced and highpressure clinical environment.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of radiology.
• Sound judgment and decisionmaking skills in diagnostic interpretations and patient care.
