Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough medical examinations and assessments to diagnose conditions and determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Develop and implement customized rehabilitation programs to address patients specific physical limitations and disabilities.
• Provide continuous medical care monitoring and evaluation to track the progress of patients rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapists occupational therapists and other specialists to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Prescribe and administer medical treatments medications and therapeutic interventions as needed.
• Document patients medical histories progress notes and treatment plans accurately and timely.
• Participate in ongoing research and clinical trials to contribute to advancements in physical medicine and rehabilitation.
• Stay current with medical advancements best practices and industry regulations related to physical medicine and rehabilitation.
• Provide education and guidance to patients and their families about their conditions treatment options and selfcare techniques.
• Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice maintaining patient confidentiality and informed consent.
• Contribute to the administrative tasks of medical records management reporting and quality improvement initiatives.
• Participate in professional development activities and continuous medical education to enhance knowledge and skills.

Required Qualifications

• Medical degree (MBBS) and valid state licensure to practice medicine.
• Completion of residency training in physical medicine and rehabilitation (DPMR).
• Board certification in physical medicine and rehabilitation.
• Proven experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of physical and neurological conditions.
• Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing individualized rehabilitation plans.
• Strong understanding of musculoskeletal and neurological anatomy and physiology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interactions and team collaboration.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in medical documentation and reporting.
• Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively in a fastpaced medical setting.
• Commitment to delivering empathetic and patientcentered care.
• Knowledge of clinical research methodologies and evidencebased practice in rehabilitation medicine.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and medical record management.
• Compliance with ethical standards professional conduct and regulatory requirements.
