Human Resource Generalist

• Participate in recruitment efforts for exempt and nonexempt personnel.
  
• Conduct preemployment tests and reference checks for applicants.
  
• Maintain records reports and logs related to applicant flow procedures.
  
• Verify I9 documentation and keep records uptodate.
  
• Prepare paperwork for placing employees on payroll and establish personnel files.
  
• Conduct new employee orientation & assist with exit interviews.
  
• Ensure accurate data input into ADP for new hires promotions salary changes transfers status changes and personal changes.
  
• Assist with weekly and biweekly payrolls
  
• Process Short Term Disability claims.
  
• Assist with FMLA & PFL requests.
  
• Assist HR Director with research projects and/or special projects.
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree and three (3)years of experience in the HR field or any appropriate combination of education and experience.
• Computer proficiency and technical aptitude including MS Word Excel
  
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred
  
• In depth knowledge of recruiting platforms Indeed LinkedIn Recruiter etc.
