Job Title: Tool and Die Maker

Location: Battle Creek MI 49015

Duration: Direct hire

Shift : 2nd shift 8 hour shift plus OT 1:45p 11:45p Sat for OT

3rd shift 8 hour shift plus OT MonFri 9:45pm 7:45am Sat for OT

Job Summary:

Under the direction of a Tooling Supervisor the Tool and Die Maker is responsible for repairing dies and making adjustments as needed to run dies in accordance with the customers standards.

This position reports directly to the Tooling Supervisor who is responsible for their department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must be able to troubleshoot conditions in a production setting.
• Perform die set operations.
• Perform PMs on metal stamping dies.
• Perform quality checks.
• Perform other duties as required.
• Complete all required and applicable training required by client and its customers.

Required Skills /Qualifications:

• Journeyman Tool and Die Card from the Department of Labor preferred.
• Previous experience working as a Die Maker
• Experience working in a metal stamping facility.
• Experience with large transfer and progressive dies a plus
• Able to lift 40 lbs. frequently depending upon rework.
• Standing 8 or more hours walking to assist in seat build rework etc...
• Ability to solve problems and work with support personnel.
• Certificates Licenses Registrations
• Must be able to meet the requirements of being able to work in the United States (INS Form I9).

Required Education:

High School Education or Equivalent (GED)
