Clearly IP a local Appleton Wisconsin based VoIP hardware and software manufacturer is looking for a talented Support Technician in the Fox Valley area who will troubleshoot and resolve issues throughout our entire product line and assist customers with rollouts of our telephony products.
Role:
- Work out of our Appleton Wisconsin office
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to VoIP
- Provide Support in line with appropriate SLAs
- Be able to Talk clients through a series of actions either via phone email chat or screen share
- Properly escalate unresolved issues
- Ensure all issues are properly logged
- Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time
- Document technical knowledge in the form of knowledge base guides
- Maintain an open but professional relationship with customers and colleagues
Requirements
Your Background:
- Basic familiarity with Linux Android iOS MacOS and Windows operating systems.
- Command line skills in Linux are a plus.
- Experience with Asterisk and FreeSwitch based phone systems is a plus.
- A solid understanding of TCP/UDP/IP networking.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in the English language. French language would be a major advantage but not required.
