Telecom VoIP Support Technician

Clearly IP a local Appleton Wisconsin based VoIP hardware and software manufacturer is looking for a talented Support Technician in the Fox Valley area who will troubleshoot and resolve issues throughout our entire product line and assist customers with rollouts of our telephony products.

Role:

• Work out of our Appleton Wisconsin office
  
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to VoIP
  
• Provide Support in line with appropriate SLAs
  
• Be able to Talk clients through a series of actions either via phone email chat or screen share
  
• Properly escalate unresolved issues
  
• Ensure all issues are properly logged
  
• Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time
  
• Document technical knowledge in the form of knowledge base guides
  
• Maintain an open but professional relationship with customers and colleagues
  

Requirements

Your Background:

• Basic familiarity with Linux Android iOS MacOS and Windows operating systems.
  
• Command line skills in Linux are a plus.
  
• Experience with Asterisk and FreeSwitch based phone systems is a plus.
  
• A solid understanding of TCP/UDP/IP networking.
  
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in the English language. French language would be a major advantage but not required.
