Job Title : Operator 3 Packaging Operations

Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for moving required materials from defined storage or staging areas to workspace using material handling equipment including manual and motorized pallet jacks/walkies.
- Packaging of final product into enduser containers per approved Standard Manufacturing Procedures (SMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Keeps accurate logs (both written and on computer) following Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Demonstrates the ability to follow established procedures according to Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Demonstrates ability to setup operate and clean production equipment including weighing scales handfilling equipment Integrated Fill Lines (IFL) and Bagging equipment (SpeeDee & AllFills).
- Requires monitoring of critical meters gauges and displays for process parameters (ie. temperature humidity RPMs).
- Maintains accurate production records which include operation/cleaning logs batch history records Label reconciliation work order information and other pertinent data.
- Responsible for assuring final product is within final weight tolerance as specified per IMW A163.
- Use independent judgment to plan perform make decisions troubleshoot and problem solve in areas on set up operations and processes.
- Demonstrate the ability to maintain neat accurate and complete records and logs and use calibration equipment and machine operations.
Minimum Qualification
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Minimum of three years of experience in a manufacturing packaging and/or warehouse environment.
- Must be capable of performing heavy lifting/handling during a 10 hr. shift; 15 lb. 70% ; 525 lbs. 30%
- Must be able to stand walk and climb stairs 50% to 95% of the workday.
- Must be capable of passing the physical examination for forklift operations and respirator fit test
