As a Logistics Management graduate intern you will have the opportunity to put your knowledge and skills into practice within a dynamic logistics & production environment. You will be involved in various projects and processes and will be given the space to come up with innovative ideas. The main assignment will be mapping and analyzing (data) of the TMS system and advising the logistics department & management on improvements to the system.

Tasks

Main assignment: analysing and advising on the new TMS system and optimizing the transport processes and logistics efficiency. Support in optimizing logistics processes and workflows.

In addition analysing data to gain insights for process improvements. Contribute to the planning and coordination of logistics activities.

Attend team meetings and report progress.

Collaborate with different departments within the company.

Requirements

You are an HBO student in the field of Logistics Management

You have a passion for logistics and a good understanding of logistics processes

Analytically strong and able to translate data into practical solutions

Proactive independent and communicative skills

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Knowledge of the Dutch language is not necessary but is an advantage

Knowledge of relevant software (e.g. ERP systems) is desirable

Solutionoriented by using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions conclusions or approaches to problems.

Ability to identify complex problems and assess related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.

Communicate effectively in writing appropriate to the needs of the audience.

Considering the relative costs and benefits of possible actions to choose the most appropriate action.
