Senior Cloud Software Developer- TSSCI-Full Scope Poly Clearance

We are assisting a government client in hiring for a Senior Cloud Software Developer with active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.

These positions are located in Annapolis Junction Columbia and Laurel MD as well as other surrounding cities. Flexible hours and most positions offer partial remote work. Relocation assistance is offered if needed.

The Cloud Software Developer will be a contributor to open source applications and Java programming for distributed systems with experience in software development/engineering requirements analysis installation integration evaluation enhancement maintenance testing networking and multithreading and problem diagnosis/resolution.

Requirements

• Security Clearance Must hold a TS/SCI Full Scope Poly Clearance
• Familiarity with microservices software development technique and container orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes)
• Agile development experience
• Wellgrounded in Linux fundamentals
• Knowledge in at least one scripting language (e.g.Python Ruby Perl etc.)
• Experience with source code management practices and tools
• Experience with Enabling tools such as Git Maven and Jira
• Continuous Integration / Continuous Testing experience with either : Bamboo Jenkins GitLab or Cl/Pipelines
• Continuous Monitoring: ELK Stack (ElasticSearch Logstash Kibana Nagios)
• Experience with either Apache Hadoop Apache Accumulo or Apache NiFi
• Hadoop/Cloud Developer Certification a plus but not required

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in a related technical field is highly desired which will be considered equivalent to two (2) years of experience.
• A Master's degree in a Technical Field will be considered equivalent to four (4) years of experience.
