POSITION SUMMARY:
BOT VFX a postproduction services company in the entertainment industry with global clients is looking for an entrylevel position Jr IT Helpdesk Coordinator on a permanent role basis. This role involves managing the flow of inquiries providing basic support and resolving technical issues. The ideal candidate will have a passion for IT possess excellent problemsolving skills and deliver superior customer service. This role reports to the IT Operations Lead.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITY
- Respond to enduser queries via phone email or ticketing system.
- Provide firstlevel contact and convey resolutions to enduser issues.
- Properly escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support.
- Track route and redirect problems to correct resources.
- Walk endusers through problemsolving processes.
- Follow up with endusers provide feedback and see problems through to resolution.
- Utilize excellent service skills and exceed enduser expectations.
- Ensure proper recording documentation and closure of helpdesk tickets.
- Recommend procedure modifications or improvements.
- Preserve and grow your knowledge of help desk procedures products and services.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Degree in Information Technology Computer Science or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a helpdesk technician or other customer support role.
- Techsavvy with working knowledge of office automation products databases and remote control.
- Good understanding of computer systems mobile devices and other tech products.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
- Proficiency in English and excellent communication skills.
- Customeroriented and cooltempered.
