Job Summary:
The Training and Development / Performance management Manager is responsible for improving the productivity of the organizations employees. This position esses company-wide developmental needs to drive training initiatives and identifies and arranges suitable training solutions for employees. This position actively searches, creatively designs and implements effective ods to educate, enhance performance and recognize performance.
Job Responsibilities
Individual performance management
Taking ownership of the performance management process design and management in SARAS
Pro-actively lead activities around performance planning and evaluation advice, inclusive of performance management process.
Design and lead progressive initiatives around capacity building of global workforce, inclusive of design, planning and facilitation of thematic training/ workshops.
Provide communication material and design campaigns around Performance management
Acting as a pro-active subject matter expert for senior management and other relevant stakeholders
Career Development
Pro-actively shape the organizations approach to career development.
Closely works with relevant stakeholders to ensure career development tools/practices are aligned with organisational needs.
Lead the development of relevant training opportunities and programmes in close collaboration with the learning team.
Design, implements and oversees programmes aimed to support the career development of specific groups of personnel, e.g. national personnel.
Lead the development of progressive and state of the art career development tools and practices.
Actively drive the implementation of best practices in these areas, at a global scale.
Provides individual career development support.
Key Responsibilities-
Identify the training needs of employees and prepare the training calendars.
Responsible for Training & development initiatives of Trainees and Operatives.
Induction and orientation and foundation program for new joiners.
Graduate and Post Graduate campus to recruits and placement also.
Recruitment and selection of trainees under various training schemes.
Obtains and /or develops effective training materials utilizing a variety of media.
Trains and coaches managers, supervisors and others involved in employee development efforts.
Conducts follow-up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results.
Modifies programs as needed.
Excellent industry awareness and understanding of the performance management evaluation needs of the organization.
In-depth knowledge of performance management concepts, theories, related practices and tools with substantial experience of incorporating these into business-focused solutions, including workable implementation plans e.g., design of departmental structures with a cohesive framework of competency models, setting performance standards and measuring results.
Ability to yze and develop innovative and business-focused solutions that take account of the employee s needs.
Ability to develop structured processes, policies and procedures that support goal achievement.
Plan and implement a comprehensive performance management and automation plans and enforce the performance cycle.
Elish a mechanism to reflect the cascaded individual objectives in the performance appraisal.
Identify below/poor performers and work closely with their direct supervisor to identify development plans and areas for improvement.
Oversee the implementation of key performance measures, core competencies and core values into the performance appraisal system.
Advise department heads on better ods to improve departmental results.
Design and develop communication programs to link talent development more clearly to performance management.
Works effectively as a team member with other members of management and the HR staff.
Ss And Qualifications:
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Human Resources related areas such as Performance Management, Career Development, Training and Development programs, Recruitment.
Bachelors degree in relevant field.
Excellent verbal and written communication ss.
Strong presentation ss.
Adopt with a variety of multimedia training platforms and ods.
Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
Ability to design and implement effective training and development.
Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) credential preferred.
Demonstrated expertise in Individual performance management is required.
Practical experience in capacity development in the area of Performance Management is highly desirable.
Experience in Career Development is a distinct advantage.
Practical experience in conceptualizing new approaches and innovation in the area of Human Resources, ideally on a global scale, is desirable.
Practical experience in designing programmes and training material is an et.
Experience with state-of-the-art Performance Management approaches is an et.
Performance-based rewards and recognition system experience is an et.
