Company Overview
Hiringlabs Business Solutions is a leading staffing and recruiting company operating in the childcare industry. We are committed to providing a safe nurturing and educational environment for young children and are seeking a passionate Lead Teacher to join our team.
Role and Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing ageappropriate lesson plans and activities for children aged 15 months to 4 years
- Ensuring a safe and clean learning environment
- Observing and tracking childrens progress and behavior
- Communicating effectively with parents and providing regular updates on childrens development
- Supervising and supporting assistant teachers and aides
- Participating in staff meetings and professional development activities
- Following licensing regulations and maintaining accurate records
- Collaborating with the management team on curriculum planning and improvements
- Leading group activities and promoting social and emotional development
- Addressing any concerns or conflicts that arise among the children
- Conducting parentteacher conferences and maintaining open communication
- Supporting and guiding children through daily routines and transitions
- Staying updated on best practices in early childhood education
- Encouraging a love for learning and exploration through playbased activities
- Modeling positive behavior and teaching social skills
Candidate Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Stateissued teaching certification
- Proven experience in a childcare setting (24 years)
- Excellent knowledge of child development principles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain a patient and nurturing approach
- Demonstrated ability to manage a classroom and create a positive learning environment
- Understanding of health and safety regulations for young children
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Experience with lesson planning and curriculum development
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fastpaced setting
- Passion for working with young children and their families
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
