Description

Business Analyst with working experience with power team to provide specialist support and analysis through direct project support design reviews earthing/grounding design electrical analysis R&D and support to New Markets and New Technologies.

Accountabilities

• BA will be responsible for working with teams developing and implementing static dynamic and transient models for electrical power systems (distribution & transmission) generation projects wind turbines solar PV transformers voltage source inverters energy storage and hybrid generation systems in getting requirements working with technical teams Analyzing and reporting findings to business.
• Prepare and review study scopes methodologies and reports based on requirements of internal or external clients. Work with the team performing electrical design studies including load flow short circuit voltage profile voltage regulation electrical system losses and insulation coordination
• Knowledge of electrical systems SCADA RTS and ADMS is important
• Produce highquality reports and presentations documenting study findings results and recommendations
• Interpret simulation data and results to provide technical recommendations on technical performance requirements

Knowledge

• Indepth knowledge of electrical power system modeling and analysis.
• Indepth knowledge of transmission and distribution system plants and its application including the planning criteria specifications and design requirements
• Understanding of generation control systems control algorithms and power electronics

Skills

• Attention to detail and ability to interpret complex technical documentation
• Define requirements with the customer and deliver to scope budget and program
• Awareness of the commercial impact of electrical analysis on project value and risk
• Manage multiple concurrent tasks from multiple projects and clients
• Ability to communicate collaborate and work with internal and external client
