This is a remote position.
Key Purpose of the Job:
Reporting into the Operations Manager, the BDE s role will involve developing new business opportunities in the Fire Risk assessment and Fire Door Inspection markets.
As a BDE you will create and develop leads, attend sales events and meetings with potential new customers, understand sales and buying cycles and be capable of putting together a competitive PQQ and ITT response.
The right person may be looking for a career change or just starting out. They will be expected to fit into a hardworking, fast-paced environment, where we work together and help each other. They would need to be happy talking to and presenting to clients (although may not have much experience). They need to have a good attention to detail and be able to learn quickly.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Manage our ITT s.
o Write and manage the responses.
o Working with the business to ensure all the questions are answered.
o Ensure we meet deadlines.
o Identify opportunities within Framework agreements.
Channel Sales
o Work with our resellers to ensure quotes are provided promptly.
Manage the CRM systems.
o Keep them up to date with quotes PO etc.
Assist in writing client proposals.
Attend trade shows with others.
o Present to clients.
Happy to present our service to clients.
o In person and via Teams

Requirements
Essential requirements for the job:
Strong communication skills
Good time management
Information technology understanding (Zoho CRM)
Sales experience (Consultative approach)
Self-motivation
Bid management and submission skills.
Impeccable organisational skills
Confident presentation skills
Ability to quickly learn and demonstrate new technical solutions/software.
An eye for detail in both written and presentation settings.
Proficient user of all Microsoft office IT packages
