الوصف الوظيفي

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
Essential: Matric or equivalent Senior Certificate.
Degree in business administration logistics or related field
Valid driver’s licence
Essential: 3 Years relevant experience as a Fleet Administrator with proven history
Knowledge of fleet servicing fleet scheduling fleet analysis and operations

Managing and coordinating the company’s vehicle fleet. Ensuring efficient transportation operations vehicle maintenance compliance with regulations cost control and overall optimization of the company’s vehicle resources.

5. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Vehicle Maintenance
•Oversee and schedule regular maintenance for the fleet to ensure vehicles are in good working condition.

Record Keeping
•Maintain accurate records for each vehicle including service history repairs and inspections.

Fuel Management
•Monitor fuel usage and implement strategies to control costs such as optimizing routes and promoting fuelefficient driving practises.

Compliance
•Ensure all vehicles comply with relevant regulations licencing requirements and safety standards.

Insurance Management
•Arrange and manage insurance coverage for the fleet including claims processing when necessary.

Budgeting and Cost Control
•Develop and manage budgets related to the fleet identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Vehicle Acquisition
•Coordinate the acquisition and disposal of vehicles in the fleet considering factors like cost fuel efficiency and operational requirements.

Driver Management
•Oversee drivers ensuring they adhere to safety regulations and providing training when necessary.

Data Analysis
•Analyse fleet data to identify trends make informed decisions and improve overall fleet performance.

Emergency Response
•Develop and implement contingency plans for breakdowns accidents or other emergencies involving fleet vehicles.

Environmental Compliance
•Implement and monitor initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of the fleet such as adopting fuelefficient vehicles.

Communication
•Maintain effective communication with drivers management and other relevant stakeholders.

Technology Utilization
•Leverage fleet management software and technologies to enhance efficiency track vehicles and manage logistics.

In depth understanding of vehicle maintenance and regulatory compliance

Approach problems in a rational and intellectual manner. Aptitude for addressing issues such as breakdowns accidents and ensuring timeously deliveries.

English – Read write and speak well. 2nd Additional language
Interpersonal Skills
Strong interpersonal/organisational and communication skills with an ability to work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment.
SelfManagement Skills
Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Cost Management Skills
Efficient budgeting and cost control to maximise fleet performance.
Safety Skills
Implementing and enforcing safety protocols for both drivers and vehicles

7. Special Conditions of Employment
Working conditions:
Be able to support the business after normal working hours.
Must be physically fit.
Be able to travel to different regions when required.
Legal Requirements:
South African citizen
MIE no criminal record and clear credit rating
Driver’s licence and own reliable transport
