We are recruiting for an experienced candidate to provide support to sales or area manager through the handling of queries and customer service complaints for an upmarket home d cor, fabric and accessories showroom. It is essential that this candidate know fabrics, working with testing and assessments of fabrics. This position would be suitable for a mature, professional candidate with at least 6 years experience within the industry.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Credit processing supported and stock returned to the warehouse with correct documentation
- Pre-load handling fees on the system
- Professional customer services delivered
- General enquiries responded to courteously and accurate information supplied
- Stock checks, price checks (retail vs. wholesale) and reservation requests responded to accurately on the same day
- Replacement fabrics offered on discontinued ranges or out of stock items
- Complaints assessed, processed, and responded to in line with guidelines and policies
- Claims spreadsheet kept up to date and submitted to Sales Support Manager monthly
- Assist in the showroom when required
- Assist with the pulling of reports as required from mangers and sales team
- Provide printed back order list to stakeholders
- Meetings (internal and external) and teleconferences are set up as required
- Documentation, meeting packs, reports and presentations available in advance
- Minutes of meetings recorded and circulated before next meeting
- Account queries resolved before sale is processed
- Payment queries resolved with Finance
- Over credit risk assessed and payment terms proposed
Requirements
What we are looking for in you:
- National Senior Certificate
- Driver s License
- Languages; Fluent in English and one other SA language
- 6 years experience in customer care
- Knowledge of textiles/ fabric industry
