Job Description:Female Junior Accountant with Restaurant Catering Experience Position:Female Junior Accountant Starting monthly salary:QAR 4,500 - QAR 5,000 (Full package / All in) Role and Responsibilities:As a Female Accountant with Restaurant Catering Experience, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and managing the financial aspects of our operations. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to: 1. Financial Reporting: - Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. - Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. - Provide regular financial reports to the business owner for informed decision-making. 2. Budgeting and Forecasting: - Collaborate with the business owner to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts. - Monitor actual financial performance against budgeted figures, highlighting any discrepancies and proposing corrective actions. 3 Accounts Payable and Receivable: - Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and expenses. - Manage accounts receivable to ensure proper invoicing, accurate recording of revenue, and timely collections. 4. Cost Control and Analysis: - Track and analyze costs related to catering business operations, including food, beverages, staffing, and overhead expenses. - Identify cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies while maintaining high-quality service. 5. Inventory Management: - Collaborate with the kitchen and catering teams to manage inventory levels, minimizing waste and optimizing stock levels. - Perform regular inventory reconciliations to ensure accurate accounting of supplies. 6. Communication and Team Collaboration: - Work closely with the business owner, to ensure smooth financial operations. - Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decisions. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. - Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA) is preferred but not mandatory. - Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience in the restaurant or catering industry. - Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. - Knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration. - Attention to detail, accuracy, and a high level of integrity in handling financial data.
