Mechanical Technician

• Design various reports & dashboards on network performance metrics for regular review.
• Regularly update databases and reports periodically (daily/weekly/monthly) as per requirement.
• Study and analyze various reports and communicate findings and suggestions to the relevant teams for further actions as required.
• Design macros and automated processes which are repetitive, frequent and involve high manual work.
• Qualities The Role Will Require
• Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail.
• Analyse data, spot trends/deviations/anomalies and suggest action items to other members within the Network Planning team or relevant stakeholders in other functions.
• Comfort in dealing with large, often unstructured masses of information.
• The candidate should have conceptual clarity on basic statistical techniques.
• Exposure to BI platforms to design dashboards for reporting and analysis purposes.
• Comfort with an amorphous and fast-paced environment, requiring creativity and autonomous initiative.
• Good oral communication and strong inter-personal skills will be critical to develop relationships across the company
• Candidate will require to be extremely detail & process oriented and be able to multi-task effectively.
• Candidate will be participating from time to time in confidential projects and will be expected to handle such projects with high level of integrity and discretion.
• Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor s / Master s in Math / Statistics / Operations Research / Economics / IT / Computers / Business / Aviation / Transportation
• 3-6 years of experience in Airline Network Planning/ Revenue Management/ Pricing/ Sales or any analytical/commercial function will be preferred.
• Capabilities in Advanced Excel with ability to work with VB and build Excel Macros
• Good knowledge of SQL and an inclination to work with a SQL database
• Comfortable with basic statistical concepts
• Knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) / Data Visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau
• Exposure to languages like Python & R is desirable.
• Experience in developing PowerPoint presentations.
