Learning & Development:
- Assist in creating the annual budget and strategy for learning and development for management approval.
- In charge of overseeing the execution of comprehensive learning and development (L&D) programs which includes identifying training provides coordinating training with pertinent parties analyzing training efficacy and other duties.
- Support the Head of Departments in leading the Training Needs Analysis to more accurately determine the workers training needs.
- Always looking for outside technical programs and webinars to meet the training needs of staff members.
- Keep an eye on HRDC grant issues such as the status of claims applications and other things.
- Verify the training data in the HR system is accurate and create a report for analysis.
Employee Engagement:
- Provide an annual budget and plan for employee engagement for management approval.
- Create and schedule the material of the yearly events as well as any adhoc ones.
- Ensure that engagement activities are carried out on schedule.
- Organizing and coordinating vendor relations logistical planning and other staff engagement tasks.
- Help with the yearly Employee Satisfaction Survey.
Others:
- Have positive working relationships with all staff members and get candid feedback from them following events in order to assess and hear the perspectives of those on the ground.
- Compile a report every month for management assessment.
- Contribute statistics on employee engagement and learning and development to the sustainability report.
- Help coordinate with the auditor and create the paperwork required for the audit.
- Help with adhoc tasks that a supervisor assigns.
Requirements
Job Requirement:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelors Degree Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree of any discipline with 23 years working experience in the related field.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia. Able to communicate in Mandarin is an added advantage.
- Sound knowledge of Employment Law HRDC and HR policies.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to build rapport with employees.
- Possess project management skills and good in coordination.
- Be resourceful and creative in solving problems.
- Must have a sense of urgency and be able to meet deadline.
- Possess high level of integrity and have good work ethic.
- Independent and able to work under pressure.
