Your missions
As an underwriting assistant you will :
- Support underwriters and gain insights into their practices for underwriting and managing business portfolios.
- Verify the accurate completion of front sheets.
- Provide assistance in entering accounts using GuideWire.
- Foster relationships with brokers and actively follow up to obtain any outstanding information or documents.
- Generate reports using Power BI and access Underwriter logs for various data points including submissions bound accounts and Gross Written Premium (GWP).
- Maintain and manage documentation across ImageRight GuideWire and centralized individual account files for each team. Edit files after underwriters have saved the documentation.
- Collaborate with Operations Finance and the Underwriting Team to address any inquiries or issues related to underwriting and accounts.
- Work alongside DXC to ensure that risks are accurately processed and recorded in the system promptly addressing any inquiries.
- Provide oversight and management of DXC queries and errors.
- Assist with the clearance of accounts working in coordination with operations and underwriting teams.
- Proficiency in both French and English is required
