• Evaluate budgets and ensure that they are realistic and reasonable

• Ensure that proposals adhere to the funding agencys guidelines and meet ethical standards
  
• Communicate with funding agency staff and grant applicants regarding proposal decisions and revisions

Requirements

• A Ph.D. degree in a relevant field
  
• Experience in reviewing grant proposals
  
• In-depth knowledge of the funding agencys guidelines and priorities
  
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  
• Familiarity with grant proposal writing standards and guidelines
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
