A sales executive s main role will be to generate revenue through direct sales new business creation and retention as well as closing and maintaining accounts and supporting distribution channels in the assigned area.

Other duties include preparing and doing follow up on media schedules proposals Organizing and attending Client briefs internal and client s meetings and Invoicing and Payment followups.

Responsibilities
  • To sell all client products and achieve the set sales monthly and Annual Targets
  • To identify sales opportunities among clients and make use of upcoming business opportunities among clients.
  • Understand emerging trends in sales as well as marketing conventions customer needs and feedback.
  • Generate and present concepts as well as collect and process media orders so as to achieve set sales targets
  • Ensure Effective Fast follow up on clients queries to ensure customer Satisfaction and retention (Effective problem solving).
  • Ensure accurate and timely capture of all information regarding clients and daily progress reporting to Clients / Sales Manager.
  • To regularly monitor clients campaigns and feedback across all levels and avail progress reports on their performance.
  • Ability to maintain an Open and effective communication Channel with Clients and across departments.
  • Ability to develop and communicate a clear plan with strong customer focus
  • Ability to use CRM systems and follow all other internal processes

Requirements

Knowledge and Experience
  • Degree in Sales and Marketing/ Public Relations or any other related courses
  • At least 5 years in media sales or any other servicerelated fields.
  • Computer literate especially in PowerPoint Word and Spreadsheets.
  • Ability to analyze and make use of listenership and viewership data
  • Social media savvy
  • Local marketing/digital marketing and sales experience is a must
  • A demonstrated record of success in a fast paced goaloriented environment.
  • Strong skills in planning communicating organizing and developing customer relationships.
  • Ability to develop a strategic sales plan.
  • Proficient in prospecting high potential accounts and setting up appointments with key decision makers with the ability to secure appointments weekly with qualified prospects.
  • Demonstrates effective listening skills and can deliver compelling advertising presentations.
  • Ability to present a marketing/sales plan that addresses client objectives and reaches the target audience.
  • Effectively able to overcome client objections and articulate the value of recommended solutions.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical ability are essential.
  • Must posses a great Understanding of the market and be a market changer for potential prospecting
  • Have ability to create and maintain good networks and be actively field oriented
  • Be creative and proactive in taking initiative to grow revenues.
