Midwest multi-disciplined engineering firm is looking to add a Civil/Land Development Engineer to their Orlando team!
Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed design for a variety of projects including potable water and wastewater pipelines, drainage systems, pumping stations (stormwater, wastewater, water) hydraulic studies, pavement, and local roadways
- Responsible for the studies/design of wastewater system rehabilitation
- Prepare traffic studies/design of roadway pavement condition and rehabilitation, widening, grading improvements
- Hydraulic/hydrologic modeling designs for drainage basins, water quality improvement and stormwater collection systems
- Prepare master planning reports, design, and construction documents for potable water, stormwater, roadway and wastewater projects
- Perform analyses using Geographic Information System (GIS) tools
- Complete general civil engineering services
- Assist with construction engineering services
- Assist project engineers/managers as needed
Requirements:
- degree in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, or Transportation Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- PE License or ability to obtain within six months of hire
- Stormwater modeling experience preferred (using ICPR and/or SWMM)
- Pressure pipe modeling experience preferred (using Bentley and/or Innovyze products)
- Project Manager experience preferred
- Ability to travel with own transportation
