Mainframe Administrator Top Secret clearance required

This is a remote position.

This role is primarily remote; however the person must be located within 35 hours of Clarksburg WV for any occasional onsite need. Must possess a minimum of active Top Secret clearance to be considered.

Key Requirements:

Must have active Top Secret Clearance

.

Proficiency in z/OS support including adept problemsolving abilities.

.

Familiarity with Z/OS Operation IPL Process PARMLIB processing JES2 Operation JCL z/OSMF SMP/E SMS SMF TSO z/OS Security and z/OS Networking.

.

Capability in analyzing developing modifying installing testing and maintaining operating systems software components.

.

Experience in planning testing and installing operating system and vendor products patches or enhancements.

.

Ability to strategize hardware and software system upgrades and configuration changes.

.

Proficient in modifying installing and crafting technical documentation for system software applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

.

Expertise in systemwide performance tuning to ensure optimal service levels.

.

Working knowledge of Assembler REXX RMF DFSORT IPCS/dump analysis WLM GRS VSAM RACF VTAM TCPIP and Pervasive Encryption.

.

Significant involvement in thirdparty software product upgrades to newer releases.

.

Capacity Planning skills.

.

Experience in automating operations for increased efficiency.

.

Proficiency in modifying installing and creating technical documentation for system software applications.
