We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at a reputable nursing home in the Killkenny area.

• Assisting residents with daily activities including personal care hygiene and mobility.
  
• Monitoring and recording vital signs such as blood pressure and temperature.
  
• Administering medication under the supervision of a registered nurse.
  
• Assisting with meal preparation and feeding ensuring dietary requirements are met.
  
• Providing emotional support and companionship to residents.
  
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents.
  
• Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure the overall wellbeing of residents.
  

• QQ I Level 5 or qualification as a Healthcare Assistant.
  
• Previous experience in a similar role preferably in a nursing home or healthcare setting.
  
• Knowledge of basic medical procedures and protocols.
  
• Excellent communication in English and interpersonal skills.
  
• Empathy compassion and a genuine desire to help others.
