Compressor Millwright

Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Compressor Millwright to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for the installation maintenance repair and troubleshooting of a variety of compressors including reciprocating centrifugal and screw compressors. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all equipment is operating safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Install assemble disassemble and repair compressors according to manufacturer specifications and blueprints.
  
• Perform routine maintenance on compressors including lubrication oil changes and filter replacements.
  
• Troubleshoot and diagnose compressor problems and make necessary repairs.
  
• Align and level compressors using precision tools.
  
• Fabricate and repair minor parts using welding and machining equipment.
  
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
  
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations.
  
• Work independently and as part of a team.
  

Requirements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
  
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Compressor Millwright or in a related field.
  
• Experience with a variety of compressors including reciprocating centrifugal and screw compressors. Must have reciprocating compressor experience
  
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problemsolving skills.
  
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  
• Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools.
  
• Welding and machining experience preferred.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fastpaced environment.
  
• Must be able to lift and move heavy objects.
  
• Valid drivers license.
