Job Title Azure FinOps Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Azure FinOps Specialist to join our team As an integral part of our cloud operations you will play a key role in optimizing our Azure environment enhancing financial management and providing valuable insights through dashboard development Your expertise in Azure FinOps cloud optimization and governance will contribute to the efficiency and costeffectiveness of our cloud operations
Responsibilities
Azure FinOps Management
- Implement and manage Azure FinOps practices to optimize costs enhance efficiency and align cloud expenses with business objectives
Dashboard Development
- Design and develop comprehensive dashboards to visualize and communicate Azure consumption data providing actionable insights for decisionmakers
Cloud Optimization
- Identify and implement strategies for continuous cloud optimization ensuring optimal resource utilization and costeffectiveness
Cloud Governance
- Establish and enforce cloud governance policies and best practices to maintain security compliance and operational efficiency
Consumption Data Insights
- Analyze Azure consumption data to derive meaningful insights identify trends and propose recommendations for resource optimization
Collaboration
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including IT finance and operations to align Azure FinOps strategies with overall business goals
Documentation
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for Azure FinOps processes optimization strategies and governance frameworks
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
- Minimum of X years of proven experience in Azure FinOps cloud optimization and governance
- Proficiency in dashboard development tools and techniques for Azure such as Power BI
- Strong understanding of Azure services and consumption data analytics
- Azure certifications (eg AZ AZ or equivalent) are highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a teamoriented environment
- Proven analytical and problemsolving abilities with a keen attention to detail
- Continuous learner with a passion for staying abreast of the latest trends and advancements in cloud technologies
Minimum of X years of proven experience in Azure FinOps, cloud optimization, and governance. Proficiency in dashboard development tools and techniques for Azure, such as Power BI. Strong understanding of Azure services and consumption data analytics. Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-900, AZ-103, or equivalent) are highly desirable. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail. Continuous learner with a passion for staying abreast of the latest trends and advancements in cloud technologies.
