This is a remote position.
Job description
Salary Expectation: R22 000 - R25 000 per month (depending on experience)
About the Client:
Our client is a prominent property company with an impressive portfolio and a turnover of half a million. As they embark on an exciting phase of growth, they seek a Financial Director to join their team. This role is critical in steering their financial strategy and ensuring sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial operations across five subsidiary companies.
- Develop financial strategies to support the company's growth and objectives.
- Prepare, manage, and analyze budgets, forecasts, and management accounts.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and maintain relationships with external auditors.
- Drive improvements in financial processes and systems for efficiency.
- Provide insightful financial analysis to aid in strategic decision-making.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Essential: Strong background in management accounting, preferably within the property sector.
- Demonstrated experience in financial strategy development and budget management.
- Proficient in financial software and advanced Excel.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive and detail-oriented approach.

A minimum of 5 years' experience in the property market. Proven experience working in commercial estate agencies, or possess very strong residential market experience. In-depth understanding of the London and UK property markets, including sales, rentals, and property management. Exceptional ability to source, develop, and close leads. Proven experience in identifying target audiences and devising effective strategies to reach them.
