Nursing House Supervisor

Acts and a management representative and extension of the CNO. During non-business hours is the primary leader for the facility.Essential Key Job Responsibilities1. Facilitates patient throughput via intra-departmental collaboration.2. Responds to life saving situations based upon nursing standards, policies, procedures,and protocol. Assists in clinical tasks on a limited basis (helping hands on units)3. Evaluates resources necessary and develops staffing plans for nursing departments in collaboration with staff nurses and other clinical leaders.4. Works collaboratively with medical staff and facility leaders to provide exceptional care.5. Responds to regulatory concerns6. Escalates concerns to appropriate leaders9. Practices safe work habits, compliance with safety rules and regulations, and adheres tosafety policies.10. Utilizes resources appropriately and follows facility guidelines, policies, andprocedures.Non-essential Job Responsibilities1. Other duties as assigned
