Senior Accountant - Audit

• Preparing and reviewing financial statements and reports in compliance with GAAP and applicable regulations.
  
• Managing and coordinating the external audit process, including interactions with auditors.
  
• Conducting research on complex accounting matters and ensuring compliance with emerging accounting standards.
  
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and support the reporting process.
  
• Reviewing and reconciling general ledger accounts and financial transactions.
  
• Assisting with the preparation of SEC filings and shareholder communications.
  
• Supervising and mentoring junior accounting staff.
  
• Identifying process improvements and enhancing financial reporting procedures.
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or similar certification.
  
• 3+ years of experience in financial reporting and accounting.
  
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  
• Proficiency in financial reporting software and tools.
  
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
