Business analyst

Title: Business analyst with Supply Chain/ Manhattan System Experience

Location: Remote

Job Description:

Looking for a combo of a business analyst working on a configuration
model.



Experience:

Need experience with warehouse management systems (Manhattan is
preferred, okay with Blue Yonder or other home-grown systems)

supply chain experience to have working knowledge of processes.

SQL experience - working knowledge or ability to learn if they know
other languages. As they will need this to do some analytics works. Will
be writing basic queries, won't be doing anything too advanced.



Configuration, testing, design, validation and implementation.



ASSIGNMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:

Serve as a Technical/Business Process Consultant for mid-sized project

Document and translate business processes into technical requirements

Coordinate/facilitate cross-functional project teams of 10-15 people

Analysis of data utilizing various methodologies and systems

Define and articulate project scope and business requirements based on
client-provided strategy and objectives, analyzing appropriate data as
necessary

Effectively communicate project strategies, statuses, and key decisions
within project teams, stakeholder committees, and larger organization
including Senior Management

Identify, research, analyze and manage risks within
projects/systems/resource changes and formulate solutions/contingency
plans partnering with Manager and Sr Management when necessary

Communicate expectations and share information

QUALIFICATIONS:

Preferred Manhattan WMOS experience (design, configuration, testing,
implementation), emphasis on Slotting/Labor Management experience

Preferred SQL programming experience and/or proven ability to learn

Effectively interact and transact business with vendor/client partners

Manage project timelines, ensuring that projects deliver on-time,
accurately and with the desired quality of product

3-5 years Project/Process Management experience w/ multiple, technical
development projects retail merchandising or marketing experience.
