Project Manager - Construction

PROJECT MANAGER - CONSTRUCTION (Permanent)
Our client, an established, national development company with its headquarters in WNY, is looking to hire a Construction Project Manager to join their growing team. The company offers incentives and a great work-life balance.

Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day cost-control responsibilities for multiple commercial projects
  
• Organize, plan, and schedule each project to establish clear objectives and communicate them to contractors and subcontractors
  
• Manage bids, estimating, and contract negotiations with contractors
  
• Prepare budgets, draft contract documents, and process invoices
  
• Communicate effectively with tenants to ensure designs match their requirements but also fit within general conditions and supplementary general conditions
  
• Coordinate and review architectural and engineering designs
  
• Conduct meetings to review designs and offer solutions/adjustments where necessary
  
• Ensure projects are being completed within budget, advising management if revisions are necessary
  
• Monitor work of subcontractors to ensure work is completed accurately and on schedule
  
• Work well in a team environment as well as independently
  
• Develop relationships with stakeholders
  
• Complete special projects in a timely manner
  
• Other duties as assigned/as necessary
  

Details:

• Position is full time, direct hire; 100% in-office/on sites with some flexibility as needed
  
• Standard 40-50 hour work week; some local travel, but not much
  
• Valid Driver s License required; option to have company vehicle or be reimbursed mileage
  
• $90,000 - $130,000 annually depending on experience

• Understanding of building codes
  
• 4+ years experience in construction Project Management
  
• Commercial, retail, or large residential project construction experience
  
• Great interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  
• Strong organization skills, analytical, and time management skills
  
• Strong attention to detail
  
• Self-motivated
  
• Relocation not available
