MECHANICAL MODELER

Job Description

• Create BIM Model (MEP & HVAC model) up to LOD 400 and do clash detection for coordination.
• Prepare MEP Building Services Layouts.
• Coordinates with the Engineer in preparation of design drawings and details for construction.
• Check drawings for discrepancies and errors and do corrections necessary for the project.
• Provides spot detail / Shop drawings for the clarity of the plans and details.
• Responsible for MEP drawing coordination with Architectural
• Create Architectural and structural 3D Model based on 2D drawings and do clash detection for coordination.
• Coordinates with the Architect ( architectural model input ) in preparation of design drawings and details for construction.
• Create render views and walkthrough videos out of the created models
• Able to use engineering sizing tools for pipes , ducts , cables , etc
• Making Site visit for the measurement of the Area, for as-built purposes.
• Extract BOQs & schedules for all MEP components such as Pipes , cable trays , cables , ducts , valves , duct accessories

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Diploma in one of engineering field ( mechanical preferred )

Additional Information

• Ability to work using modeling software's such as ( Revit , AutoCAD , Plant 3D )
• Ability to use clash detection software's such as Navisworks
• Have strong engineering background in both mechanical and electrical field
• Have fair knowledge on the MEP & HVAC system components and uses
• Ability to use Microsoft office applications
