Title: Design Engineer Aircraft Cabin Interiors - Technology Analyst
Location: Appleton WI (Day 1 Onsite)

Design Engineer Aircraft Cabin Interiors
2 to 3 years of experience in an engineering classification / position
Experience with complete Interior cabin layouts and configuration is essential.
Understand and ability to use LOPA and other engineering drawings.
Create and modify LOPA drawings.
Knowledge of FAR regulations related to interiors, and other government requirements for passenger
safety and accommodation.
Interior configuration and arrangement
Design and modification of cabin/flight compartment furnishings.
o Seats, lavatories, galleys and cabinets
o Ceilings, overhead stowage units, passenger service units.
o Sidewall lining, insulation and panels.
o Flooring covering, raceways and escape path lighting.
o Doors and slides.
o Emergency equipment.
o Cargo systems.
Design work includes the creation of drawings/modeling using CATIA and SmarTeam while employing
design standards and accepted design methods
Prepare, analyze and present 3D models at design reviews and to assist selection of preferred/selected
directions
Proficient in CATIA V5-SmarTeam.
Liaison with hangar and shop teams on engineering issues
Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Typically, 2 to 3 years of experience in an engineering classification / position
Preferred
Experience with complete Interior cabin layouts and configuration is essential.
Proficient in CATIA V5-SmarTeam
Microsoft Office - advanced skill level
Knowledge of Aerospace industry and standards
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
