The project manager will:
- Work with the preconstruction, procurement, and construction directors to:
- Follow and update the project pathway via Smartsheet
- Lead the superintendent through the construction process
- Monitor the superintendent s interaction with the project subcontractors.
- Review daily job reports and provide comments to the superintendent, construction director, and CEO.
- Monitor the project materials, progress, and schedule to call out any insufficiencies
- Work with the superintendent, procurement, preconstruction, and construction directors to:
- plan construction processes
- solve issues that arise in the field
- determine improvements for current and future jobs
- Facilitate the resolution of any project issues
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a project manager or similar
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Understanding of processes and methods of solar construction
- Ability to use scheduling software, such as Smartsheet
- Ability to read, use, and mark up construction drawings, manuals, studies, tests, and similar documents
- Ability to use a computer for review of construction documentation, schedules, daily job reports, as well as communicate by PDF comments, email, spreadsheet, and word processing
- Knowledge of project management methods
- Knowledge of safety standards
