Our client is an established distributor or vehicle accessories in the automotive trade. They are seeking a Sales Representative to join their team. The candidates role within the company would be to ensure all sales orders and customer enquiries are handled with professionalism and accuracy.
The Salesperson is the voice and face of our client in all things to do with sales and will ensure the following:
- All customers are handled as per the relevant Standard Operational Procedure
- All e-mail contact with customers is handled timeously, accurately, professionally as per the relevant Standard Operational Procedure
- All sales orders are confirmed and processed as per relevant Standard Operational Procedure and benchmarks
- Attending and contributing where relevant to the sales meeting
- Ensuring quality Standard Operating Procedures as per our Quality Management System: ISO 9001 are followed.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Handle all incoming calls with professionalism.
- Provide quotes to customer queries.
- If direct sales order, determine if stock is available and follow the process as SOP 013 and raise the required sales processing documents i.e., invoice, quote or pro forma.
- Confirm customer requirements as per SOP 013.
- Issue all relevant sales processing documents as required refer SOP 002 and 013.
- Ensure sales order is dispatched.
- Assist team in setting of objectives and solving sales problems
- Achieve 100% accuracy on sales processing
- Request feedback on performances continually.
- Abide to agreed housekeeping and safety procedures within the company.
- Follow safety standards within the workplace
- Organize your own work area so that good manufacturing practices are adhered to.
Requirements
Education & Qualifications:
- National Senior Certificate
- Computer literate (preferably excel)
- 2 years minimum experience in a similar role.
- Experience within the automotive industry is preferential.
- Negotiation Skills
- Strong analytical, organizational and decision-making skills.
- Results driven
- Knowledge of marketing analysis, practices, strategies, planning.
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
Benefits
- Salary between R15k - R20k
- Commission based on sales targets reached
