• Oversees the Marketing & Sales and Business development functions of the Local Division including the Solutions and Service portfolio. Achieve the sales targets for your LD that include order volume and order gross margin.
• Manage sales costs within budget and establish sales and portfolio mix targets throughout the organization and taking corrective actions when needed.
• Create, plan, and implement the sales strategy, and strategic sales and business development initiatives, in alignment with the local and global strategy and oversees all marketing and sales activities within the local division. Ensure efficient marketing communications.
• Manage the mix of orders to ensure that all sectors and portfolios are adequately covered. This includes attention to the growth of the service and channel partner business.
• Build and maintaining strong relationships with customers to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and improving Net Promoter Score. Acquiring, developing, and retaining new customers.
• Create, manage, and coach a high performing team that delivers on targets consistently and pushes the envelope on innovation and entrepreneurship.
• Ensure that sales operations are executed in accordance with company procedures and with a high degree of Integrity. Evaluate and manage the risks and opportunities during the bidding process and negotiate contract terms that are most beneficial to ABB.
• Lead and support key pursuits, set up the bid strategy, evaluate competitive pricing and negotiate deals.
