National Warehouse Manager - Medical Devices

JOB DESCRIPTION - NATIONAL LOGISTICS MANAGER

Our client is looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager. Our clients offices are based in Faerie Glen in Pretoria and candidates must be willing to travel from time to time.

FOCUS AREAS:

• Rolling Stock Count - oversee and manage the periodic counts ensuring that an efficient process is in place
  
• Training and Development - assessment and development of all warehouse staff. Measurable improvement of staff performance
  
• Logistics - review, update, and implement policies. Cost savings, inventory accuracy, optimal workflow
  
• Reporting - accurate data reporting to assist with business decisions
  
• Team Effectiveness - the achievement of team goals and organizational objectives

• Extensive knowledge of warehousing
  
• Thorough knowledge of ordering, storage, receiving, issue and shipping methods
  

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

At least 5 years in a similar position

Experience with Team Management and HR responsibilities

Qualifications in Staff Management, Training and Development and Warehouse Management are non-negotiable

Knowledge of Warehouse Management Software Systems

Knowledge and experience in a medical company environment will be preferable
