As our DevOps Engineer, you...

• apply your know-how to automate scaling, maintenance and configuration of our cloud infrastructure
• ensure monitoring on all levels from performance metrics to intrusion detection
• make the best use of cloud services out there, by building on latest technologies & concepts, including Infrastructure as code using Terraform, Infrastructure testing, K8s, configuration management via Ansible and similar tools
• ensure secure, compliant and reliable operations of CLARK applications
• work closely with the rest of the team, especially with fellow developers and product managers to ensure the best quality and smoothest operation.

Your Background, you...

• have 3-4 or more years of professional experience with Linux
• are self-motivated and enjoy improving systems
• are experienced in infrastructure as Code through terraform and Ansible or similar configuration management tools
• have experience with AWS
• have an understanding of distributed systems e.g. cluster managers, decentralized logging and message queues
• are experience in Monitoring and Alerting as well as with scripting languages like BASH or Python
• know application of ITIL approaches
• are fluent in English, German is a plus
• know how to handle database and data analytics infrastructure experience is a plus
• have knowledge in IT Security, it is a big plus
