Backup & Recovery Solution Architect

• Defining parameters to match given backup and recovery scenarios to given branch office environments.
  
• Designing a blueprint architecture for branch office categories given by previously defined parameter.
  
• preparation of rollout of defined architecture incl. establishment of rollout governance and migration playbook.
  
• Overseeing rollout phase incl. technical documentation.
  
• Handover to Ops after hypercare phase, might include training.
  

Requirements

• All candidates must have unrestricted rights to work in the EU or UK
  
• Fluent in English
  
• At least 5 years experience working with backup and recovery storage systems
  
• Ability to support the client in delivering the key activities above
  
• Design, migration and implementation experience on enterprise backup solutions
  
• Experience with Rubrik and TSM
  
• Knowledge on the latest trends and technologies in the enterprise backup domain
  
• Ability to perform assessment/audit of current backup landscape of customer based on IBM Spectrum Protect technologies and prepare transformation road map document
  
• Ability to perform performance assessment of current backup & capacity landscape based on TSM/IBM Spectrum Protect
  
• Ability to size the storage solution based on the performance assessment
  
• Good understanding of Disaster recovery, RPO and RTO
  
• Good communication and documentation skills (HLD & LLD)
  
• Ability to work under pressure
  
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills
