Operations Manager- Yorkshire
We are currently looking for an experienced Operations Manager to be responsible for the company s security personnel relating to key holding, alarm response and mobile patrols.
Location: Yorkshire
Salary: 38,000 per annum
Start Date: ASAP

Duties Include:
We are looking for an Operations Manager who has experience in planning, organising, and managing operational activities for several contracts. The ideal candidate will have a wealth of knowledge in the preparation and execution of Assignment instructions and Health and Safety Risk assessments, ensuring these are always site relevant and up to date.
As the Operations Manager you will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating security standards for each contract. You will ensure that all personnel are in possession of the appropriate uniform, PPE, have the correct accreditations and are licenced in accordance with the SIA regulations. The successful candidate will thrive off motivating and developing their team. You will have the ability to manage and motivate effectively and ensure that all training needs are identified and actioned in a timely manner.
As a successful Operations Manager your day-to-day duties will include but are not limited to: Ensuring duty rosters are prepared well in advance and staff receives early notification of their rostered duties. Upkeep staff attendance records, employee relations, accident reporting, grievance, and discipline procedures. Protect assets from unauthorised access, disclosure, modification, destruction or interference. Provide weekly reports and stats to the Head of Security Personnel and keep up to date client files containing minutes and KPI s. Identify excessive working practices and identify and develop safer and efficient working practices and to manage the client portfolio in accordance with SIA/ACS requirements.
We are looking for an individual who can actively always support and understands the regulatory, fair trading and competition rules relating to their work sufficiently to be able to comply with them. You will need the ability to rely on your own knowledge and ability to recognise what specialist support is required to develop safer and efficient working practices.

Essential Requirements for the Job:
Previous experience in the security industry or a secure environment with responsibility for managing a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to work effectively to meet deadlines and supporting colleagues to meet deadlines
Strong time management and prioritisation skills
Effective leadership and strong organisational and problem-solving skills
Flexibility and adaptability
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
Team worker, confident in dealing with people of all levels
Current Full Drivers Licence
SIA (Security Industry Authority) License.
