Role Purpose
Responsible in leading technical sales to drive outcome-based business architectures to customers. Collaborate with the sales teams to deliver company objectives as per budget. To champion technology offerings internally and externally and build key technical relationships with customers.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Deliver professional presentations and demos to customer together with the sales team.
Facilitate the resolution of customer technical queries through relevant stakeholders.
Accompanying sales representatives to client sites during their technical presentations.
Report accurate, relevant, and timely information on solutions and bid progress tracking.
Prepare and deliver technical presentations that explain products or services to customers and prospective customers.
Manage and drive innovations by tailor making solutions to drive high value sales.
Offer Bid / Tender guidance and preparations in line with customer specifications.
Analyse customers needs to recommend appropriate products band explaining technical concepts.
Handling timely submission of applications both digital and physical in accordance with client stipulations, ensuring quality assurance processes are adhered to.
Streamline and improve current processes and activities on the team in preparing proposals and quotations. This will drive the growth and conversion of sales pipeline.
Oversees the process of gathering information, writing tender responses and choosing the most effective corporate literature to attach.
Reconcile pricing rates for existing clients.
Develop a repository of templated responses for written proposals and budget calculations/ preparing of technical & commercial bids as per the tender requirements.
Set up and maintain all credentials and compliance documents for use in proposals.
Review and provide the final sign-off before each bid is submitted.
Set up and maintain a database of partners and suppliers.
Working closely with other department to assess clients needs.
Any other duties as assigned by the line manager.
Requirements
Education, Experience & Professional Knowledge
University degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or Information Technology, Electrical and Electronics
Minimum 5 years experience in leading a pre-sales function.
Certification on various Data Centre products will be an added advantage
Experience in Solution / Product engineering and re-engineering.
