CONTRIBUTION & PURPOSE

We re looking for the right candidate who is interested in an opportunity to join our Team. You would get to be a key go-to resource to provide direct support to users across the organization. You would also be helping to create corporate IT policies and provide training as applicable. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES ARE

1) Install and Configure Networks:

• Work directly with Ignion s servers and networks, performing setup, enhancement, and maintenance tasks.
• Ensure that employees' workstations can successfully connect to networks and access business-critical data at all times.
• Configure network security settings and connect peripheral devices, like printers and scanners, that are used by multiple users.

2) Manage Databases:

• Build Ignion's database architecture so that data is correctly stored and easily accessible. Setting up data storage and retrieval protocols, adjusting permissions, and maintaining data security and integrity during migrations, backups, and day-to-day use.

3) Coordinate Help Desk Services:

• Monitor and follow up external Help Desk services. Provide direct support to users across the organization when needed. This can include helping set up hardware or software, diagnosing connectivity or data access problems, answering questions about hardware or software, and helping users access shared drives and devices.

4) Manage Information Security:

• Maintain information security throughout the organization.
• Monitor access logs and building database security procedures.
• Set up antivirus programs at work stations, develop policies for email security, and perform periodic data audits and backups to prevent information loss and unauthorized access.

5) Troubleshoot Systems and Hardware:

• Troubleshooting systems and hardware, particularly after server migration or an organization-wide update.
• Hardware and software reports issues as part of this role.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

• Bachelor in System Engineer or relevant experience
• Minimum superior grade formative course of ASIX

THIS IS YOU

• Previous working experience as an IT technician grade 2 SERVERS & NETWORKING for at least 5 years.
• Knowledge of OS Windows, Linux and MAC Desktop.
• Knowledge Networking, Server, Intune.
• Basic knowledge of Cloud Services, AWS, Azure (no experience needed).
• Pro-active to solve technical issues.
• Strong planning skills.
• Good time management, with the ability to work under pressure, maintain accuracy and keep to deadlines.
• Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external partners and the ability to lead a team.
• Strong sense of personal integrity and commitment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral English
