About Oper

At Oper, we believe that getting a mortgage should take just a few clicks, from the comfort of your own home. Our team is working with lenders and brokers to redesign their mortgage processes to make this dream a reality.

We offer lenders and brokers an out-of-the-box, white-labeled SaaS product that supports self-service mortgage applications, collaboration tools, digital signatures, integrations with relevant data sources, and more. Our early traction has attracted top industry investors, including Bessemer Venture Partners, Swiss Immo Lab, Verve Ventures, and Pitchdrive, and earned us recognition with top fintech accelerators: Barclays Techstars, Plug and Play, and F10 Fintech Accelerator.

We have offices in Z rich and Brussels. To support our current growth in Europe, we are looking for a VP of Projects and Solutions team.

Tasks

Your Mission

As a VP of Projects & Solutions, you will be responsible to further develop our Projects and Solutions organization to enable us to bring the company to the next level. By focusing on team, processes and partnerships, you will build the team to deliver larger engagements in different markets in time and in budget.

Requirements

What you will do

  • Scale the Projects & Solutions team to a revenue-generating business unit that enables us to reach EUR 5M ARR
  • Setting out the needed processes within the P&S organization
  • Standardising the project processes to enable us to deliver projects within time and budget
  • Setting out the right partnerships with business integrators that allow us to run more projects in parallel while keeping internal headcount limited.
  • Hiring and coaching team members within the P&S team
  • Act as the program manager that oversees the most important projects and join steerco s of the different projects where needed
  • Be a hands-on project manager on larger, more complex engagements
  • Collaborate closely with with product and sales in order to push things forward
  • Play an active role in pre-sales activities / rfp s What you will bring
  • 10+ years experience in consulting/projects/financial services
  • A proven getting-things-done attitude and entrepreneurial mindset
  • You re familiar with SaaS Implementations and technical transformation projects
  • You have experience in growing teams and setting up the processes needed to do so
  • You have strong team leadership skills, and you are able to manage internal and external resources.
  • You have a good understanding of technology in general and the delivery of IT projects. Bonus points
  • You have primary experience working in the European mortgage market.
  • Prior expertise in a Pre-Series B Startup preferably in (Enterprise) SaaS.
