Product Engineer

About the Opportunity:

We have an opportunity for a Product Engineer (UK) at Norman Hay Engineering, based in Coventry, UK with occasional travel to other sites.

Tasks

What will you do?

The Product Engineer will report to the Operations Manager owning the delivery process for all product orders, including procurements, planning, production, testing and installation

• Direct responsibility of on-time on-budget delivery of all product orders
• Coordinating with function heads to organise all delivery activities
• Identify and coordinate engineering change requests and product improvements.
• Manage the product life cycle
• Maintain and communicate related product technical documentation, that covers the whole design package, BOM, manuals etc.
• Provide engineering product support, especially during design, installation & commissioning phases
• Support the planning and programme of new installations and upgrades
• Act as the central point, internally and externally, for all product related topics
• Any other reasonable duties as requested by a Manager of the Company.

Essential Qualifications & Work Experience

• Minimum qualification of OND/HNC or equivalent
• At least 3 years experience in a similar role
• Experience with CAD software
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Proven experience in the engineering field
• Superb analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Strong leadership abilities
• An awareness of Health and Safety regulations is required
