Software Applications Developer - active TS/SCI Security Clearance

Job Location: Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, in Washington, D.C.

Overview:

Varada Consulting, LLC is seeking a full-time Software Applications Developer who is passionate about supporting projects for our Civilian and Homeland Division who are responsible for supporting federal agencies in the Washington, DC area and around the country.

Job Duties:

• Provide software analysis, design, and development, deployment and maintenance of custom applications using government prescribed software development methodologies.


• Provide support for, and technical review for potential integration of, systems, security, applications for portability, flexibility, and data exchange with disparate systems. Provide analysis in briefing, report or white paper.


• Assist with the integration of custom applications into multiple networks and domains, on and off premises, as provided by the ENC, resolve all incompatibilities and assist with any troubleshooting, customer requests so as to resolve all malfunctions and incompatibilities and ensure optimal performance and maintaining mandated security posture from ENC and other government guidance.


• Assist in development of the current application portfolio and future applications accessibility by mobile devices via cross platform solutions such as Xamerin or Cordova and all current generation web browsers.


• The web application is built on a .Net 4.5, JavaScript, Java, XML, AJAX, CSS, MS SQL, Visual studio, MS SharePoint, SQL Server Reporting Services, a REST web service while using the Cisco IP Phone Services SDK.

Required Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI security clearance


• Ability to gain and maintain Presidential Support Duty (PSD) approval (Yankee White)


• Bachelors Degree or equivalent years of relevant experience


• Minimum of three years of relevant experience


• Deep understanding of Agile principles

• Experience building custom apps that interface with other apps, COTS products, etc.

Desired:

• Certified Scrum Master is desired


• SharePoint experience is desired
