QA Analyst

Responsibilities
Conducts a wide range of quality control tests and analysis to ensure that software meets or exceeds specific standards and end-user requirements.
Drafts, revises and approves test plans and scripts to ensure alignment with standards and IT strategy
Creates test data files with valid and invalid records to thoroughly test program logic and verify system flow. Coordinates with others to plan user acceptance testing, alpha and beta tests.
Ensures that system tests are successfully completed and documented, and all problems are resolved.
To undertake all system test related activities in support of the business requirements for the provision of new and updated systems.
Responsible for completing process analysis, identifying procedural and control deficiencies and recommending and implementing solutions
Developing a thorough understanding of customers Line of Business applications and their interrelationships.
Interacting extensively and effectively communicating with internal teams and external clients to deliver functional specifications for system of systems based on the product suite. Evaluating pros & cons, prioritizing and recommending options.
Generate reports on the testing being done, and to translate them into concise reports to management. A test must be able to report on structured test cases in a way that is meaningful to the business in which theyre operating.
Analyzing the defects and bugs to identify what is causing them
To support other test team members as appropriate to the implementation of testing related activities.
To carry out other tasks as agreed with the Test Team Leader.
Communicate thru voice support with clients as necessary
Keeping up to date with product development.
Work on shifting schedule (including night shift)

Good Documentation and Report Writing Skills
Good knowledge of computer hardware and software and ability to learn about new software
Proficient in using analytical tools and instruments for instance Excel, Microsoft Access
Knowledge of SQL with basic scripting
Knowledge in Test Automation is a plus
Proficient in speaking English
