Mechanical Engineer

The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the electrical design for various projects, which includes interaction with the architectural team, construction managers, contractors, and internal team members.

Duties And Responsibilities:

• Work on projects based upon project schedules, hour allocation and needs.
• Perform design calculations and choose the appropriate equipment and systems based on project parameters.
• Design HVAC systems per code and project requirements.
• Design Waste, Water, Vent, Gas and other plumbing systems per code and project requirements.
• Coordinates with other team members to complete projects.
• Plans own work in accordance with the project schedule and meet project deadlines.
• Coordinates with local authorities, utilities, and municipalities to incorporate associated construction, code, and government requirements
• Visits site to gather necessary as-built documentation to aid in the project's design. Some local travel for field support is expected.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering plus 4 years of related experience
• Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD software
• Registered Professional Engineer or ability and willingness to obtain a PE license within 6 months of start date.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office

• M-TH: 7:30-5:30
• Friday: 7:30-11:30
