Principal Engineer Cloud Infrastructure (m/f/d)

Tangany, based in Munich, is a highly innovative technology company with a market-leading B2B solution for the custody of digital assets on the blockchain (e.g. cryptocurrencies, tokenized assets, NFTs). Our solution is already used by more than 40 institutional customers. Tangany is regulated by the German federal financial supervisory authority, BaFin.

Using our modern blockchain API, we enable our customers to easily and securely integrate blockchain functionalities into their systems. This white-label solution saves high development costs and time, enabling fast market access and easy usability for end users. Regulatory requirements can be covered for appropriate assets via Tangany's crypto custody license if required.

Tasks

• Take on technical leadership in a small, efficient team of passionate blockchain enthusiasts made up of DevOps and cloud engineers
• In close cooperation with product owners & software engineering teams, develop scalable and secure software architectures & support the software engineers in the complete automation of release pipelines
• Improve the availability of our SaaS products and infrastructure and harden communication between our core cloud services
• Supervise and expand the implementation of testing, building, monitoring and alerting measures in the cloud. Implement security measures in cooperation with internal and external experts and auditors.
• Monitor and optimize the cost and efficiency of our cloud service usage
• Provide top-notch sources of evidence for internal and regulatory purposes

Requirements

• Great motivation to build a blockchain infrastructure solution in a dynamic market
• Leadership experience in a fast-moving SaaS environment
• Demonstrable success in the development and maintenance of scalable, highly automated solutions in the Microsoft Azure Cloud (or comparable cloud environments)
• Experience with the administration of Linux VMs, setup and operation of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as a code architectures, automation and security of scalable software infrastructure scenarios
• Good knowledge of implementing and monitoring cloud security methods
• Personal initiative and flexibility for market developments
• Enthusiasm for blockchain technologies, blockchain know-how is an advantage
• English (> B1), ideally German (> A2)
